Annual Meeting 2012
We recently had our Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony. During the event, we installed our Board Members for their new term, socialized with friends and gave awards to this year's winners. We would like to thank our Board of Directors and friends for their support of and dedication to our agency and congratulate this year's award winners for their hard work. Special Event for the Holidays
Our annual Open House was Friday, December 9, 2011. This year we included an exhibit of art during the Open House. Our consumers displayed their work and some items were available for purchase. Your attendance made this a successful meeting year. Thanks for your support.
Arc of Tuscaloosa takes two annual awards
The Arc took two awards at the annual meeting held at Perdido Beach Resort, Orange Beach, AL. The annual membership award for Region II and the Employeer of the Year award to Dreamland BBQ of Tuscaloosa.
2010 Annual Charity Golf Tournament
We would like to thank everyone who played and volunteered their time to help make our Golf Tournament a huge success. The 2010 tournament was a big success and a lot of fun. Thank you so much!
Johnson Controls - Blue Sky Involve Project
Tom Thebeau says:
“It was a pleasure for the Johnson Controls team to participate in our annual Blue Sky Involve Project.
Teaming up with the Arc of Tuscaloosa made it especially gratifying.
Our Blue Sky program encourages us to form volunteer groups that work with local organizations to support
environmental stewardships and leadership developments. Our team had a great time supporting the efforts
of The Arc and we were glad to lend a helping hand to such a great local organization.”

2010 AL-APSE Jim Green Program of the Year Award!
We are very proud of our PESE program and excited to share that they have won the 2010 AL-APSE Jim Green Program of the Year Award! This award is given annually to one supported employment agency in the state that has found success with placing individuals with significant disabilities into employment. Again, we are very proud of Tim, Diane, Bill, Cynthia and Mary and thank them for all their hard work. Thank you so much!!
