The Arc is mourning the loss of our dear friend Janet Younger Dill. Janet was an active supporter of The Arc, working tirelessly over decades to improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities. Janet was the co-founder and chairperson of The Arc's celebrity golf tournament and gave selflessly of her time and talents, personally sponsoring the tournament for years. Janet served in many capacities as a long-time board member and on the executive board, including president of the board of directors. She was instrumental in the creation of The Arc’s endowment fund through her philanthropic efforts. She never lost sight of our mission and purpose, placing the highest value on the individuals we serve. We will follow the path she blazed for us and honor her with our every effort.
